VERDI “REQUIEM”
On 11 October 2015, Vox Humana (as VOX was then called) collaborated with the Symphony Choir of Cape Town and the City of Tygerberg Choir (Stadskoor Tygerberg) to present Verdi’s magnificent “Requiem” under the baton of Alexander Fokkens, accompanied by the UCT Symphony Orchestra.
The soloists were Mardi Byers (soprano), Monika Voysey (mezzo), Given Nkosi (tenor) and George Stevens (bass). The performance took place in Jameson Hall on UCT’s Upper Campus.
