The singers of VOX Cape Town are delighted to perform alongside Cape Town’s foremost Baroque ensemble, Camerata Tinta Barocca, at the inaugural Cape Town Baroque Festival which runs from Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 September 2017.

In a performance entitled “Voices of VOX” at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Saturday 23 September, VOX Cape Town joins soprano Elsabe Richter and Camerata Tinta Barocca under the direction of Erik Dippenaar. The programme consists of Mozart’s “Laudate Dominum” and “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” and Haydn’s “Missa Brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo” or “Little Organ Mass”.

“We are looking forward to an exciting festival of baroque music by South Africa’s foremost musicians. The festival’s aim is to bring together early music musicians from across the country – a valuable creative exchange that is necessary in our field of music. This festival will hopefully become a regular feature in the Cape Town classical music landscape,” says Dippenaar.
